Koichi Saito was previously a Director at IMJ Investment Partners and responsible for IMJ's investments throughout Southeast Asia such as iMoney, Bukalapak and Zipmatch.
Prior to IMJ, Koichi worked at Private Equity Fund founded by George Soros, and was engaged in corporate and hotel acquisitions.
He previously served as an arranger at investment banking division of Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities. He was also at Orix Corporation, responsible for providing loans to SMEs in Japan. Koichi holds an MBA from IE business school in Spain.
Kuan Hsu started his career with McKinsey & Co. in the US, then focused on supply chain management in the US and China while at Solectron, an Electronics Manufacturing Services provider.
He obtained an MBA/MA joint degree from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School and became an investment banker in the US with Goldman Sachs, executing M&A deals in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications sector.
Kuan subsequently moved to Singapore, executing private equity deals at Temasek Holdings prior to becoming a venture capitalist responsible for GREE Ventures' Southeast Asian operations.
Dave Kwong's experience in Corporate Development and Corporate Advisory includes different stages of a deal from pre-transaction planning to post-transaction purchase allocation.
Prior to joining KK Fund, he was a team leader with RSM Corporate Advisory where he assisted start-ups and technology companies with Valuation and M&A advisory work.
He started his career as an analyst with LionGold Corp M&A team where he was responsible for analysing acquisition opportunities and helped in executing cross-border deals. Dave holds a Bsc (Hons) from University of London, with major in Banking and Finance.
Diane Soeharyo was an executive assistant reporting directly to the CEO at a Taiwanese Television media company based in Indonesia, translating contracts and partnership deals from Chinese to English and Indonesian, assisting in communicating with the headquarters in Taiwan, planning, sourcing and inviting guest speakers to the company’s TV program.
Her interest in the startup world grew when she was an Associate’s assistant at Ideosource, a VC firm based in Indonesia. At Ideosource, she assisted in deal execution for online beauty portals and fashion e-commerce, and performed due diligence on a financial analytics startup.
Diane was educated in China, Singapore and Taiwan. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Applied Foreign Languages from Shih Chien University, and can converse fluently in English, Chinese, Bahasa Indonesia and Japanese.
Masahiko Honma is co-founder and general partner of Incubate Fund,the largest seed stage investment group in Japan, with more than US$ 150 million in capital under management and with the focus of investing into mobile, gaming, and internet media startups in Japan.
Pokelabo, which Masahiko co-founded and took the first CEO role of, was successfully acquired by GREE, a mobile gaming giant in Japan, with the valuation of over 170M USD in 2012.
Prior to starting Incubate Fund, Masahiko founded and has managed an angel type fund for 5 years. Masahiko has more than 15 years working experiences at VC industry, including an investment firm of Mitsubishi Corporation group. Masahiko started the first carrier at JAFCO, the largest private equity investment company in Japan in 1998.
